Spirit of salts is a strong acid also known as Hydrochloric acid or muriatic acid.

It is a solution of hydrogen chloride in water that is used as a surface preparation treatment and pool pH adjuster.

Spirit of salts is a colourless liquid with a sharp odour and widely used in the mining, building and pool industries.

Typically used for cleaning brick and metal or etching concrete floors prior to painting
